Uses / Indications
Candiforce 50 Capsule is prescribed for mild to moderate fungal infections, such as:

Dermatophytosis (ringworm, jock itch, athlete’s foot)

Cutaneous candidiasis (fungal infections in skin folds)

Pityriasis versicolor (fungal skin discoloration)
-
Oral & vaginal candidiasis

Adjunct therapy in systemic fungal infections (when higher doses not needed or as step-down therapy)
Mechanism of Action

Itraconazole (Triazole antifungal):
-
Inhibits ergosterol synthesis (key component of fungal cell membrane)
-
Weakens fungal cell wall → stops fungal growth & kills fungus

Broad-spectrum antifungal covering dermatophytes, yeasts & molds
Dosage & Administration

Adults: Usually 50–100 mg once or twice daily, depending on severity & infection site

Should be taken immediately after a full meal for better absorption

Duration:

Skin infections: 2–4 weeks

Nail infections: longer course, as per physician
