Uses / Indications

Candiforce Dusting Powder is prescribed for:

• Superficial fungal infections (ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch)

• Cutaneous candidiasis (fungus in moist areas like groin, underarms, skin folds)

• Pityriasis versicolor (fungal skin discoloration)

• Prevention of fungal infections in sweaty/moist body folds

• Relief from itching, redness, burning & rashes caused by fungus

Mechanism of Action

• Itraconazole (Triazole antifungal):

  • Inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membrane

  • Weakens fungal wall → stops fungal growth & kills fungus

• Powder base: Absorbs sweat & moisture → prevents fungal growth in humid/sweaty areas

Dosage & Administration

• Apply sufficient powder to affected & surrounding area 1–2 times daily, or as prescribed

• Clean & dry skin before applying

• Can also be used prophylactically in body folds (armpits, groin, toes) to prevent infection
