Description

Finax 5 mg Tablet, manufactured by Dr. Reddy’s, contains Finasteride, a medicine that belongs to the class of 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors. Unlike the 1 mg dose (used for hair loss), the 5 mg strength is prescribed for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition in which the prostate gland is enlarged.

It works by reducing the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which helps shrink the prostate, relieve urinary problems, and reduce the need for surgery.
