📌 Description
Azee 500 Tablet is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic containing Azithromycin. It is widely used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, skin, ear, nose, throat, and certain sexually transmitted diseases. Azithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth and preventing the spread of infection.

Azee 500 is prescribed for the treatment of:

Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis)

ENT infections (ear and sinus infections)

Skin & soft tissue infections (cellulitis, abscess, impetigo)

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) – chlamydia, gonorrhea

Typhoid fever (as advised by physician)

💊 Dosage & Administration

Adults: Usually 500 mg once daily for 3 to 5 days (depending on infection type).

For STIs: A single 1 g dose may be prescribed.

Administration: Take orally with water, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after food for best absorption.
