Description
Zifi 400 Tablet contains Cefixime 400 mg, a broad-spectrum 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
It kills bacteria by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
This higher strength is mainly used in moderate to severe infections or where higher doses of Cefixime are required.
Uses / Indications

Respiratory tract infections (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)

ENT infections (otitis media, sinusitis)

Urinary tract infections (UTI)

Typhoid fever (caused by Salmonella typhi)

Skin & soft tissue infections
Dosage (General Guidance)
(As directed by physician)

Adults: 400 mg once daily OR 200 mg twice daily

Children (>12 yrs): May be used when higher dose required

Duration: 5–14 days depending on severity & infection type
Route: Oral
Advice: Best taken after meals to improve absorption & reduce gastric upset

Precautions / Warnings
