Description
Glimiprex 2 mg Tablet contains Glimepiride, an oral antidiabetic medicine from the sulfonylurea group.
It helps in controlling blood sugar levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus by:

Stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin

Increasing the efficiency of insulin in the body
It is generally prescribed when diet, exercise, and metformin alone are not enough.
Uses / Indications

Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Can be used alone or with other antidiabetics (Metformin, Pioglitazone, Insulin)

Helps reduce the risk of diabetic complications (kidney damage, neuropathy, retinopathy, cardiovascular issues)

Adults: Usually 1–2 mg once daily before or with breakfast

Dose may be increased gradually up to 6–8 mg/day depending on blood sugar control
