Dolo 650 is prescribed for the treatment of:

Fever (any cause – viral, bacterial, post-vaccination, etc.)

Mechanism of Action

Paracetamol works by:
-
Blocking prostaglandin synthesis in the brain → reduces pain & inflammation

Acting on the hypothalamus (thermoregulatory center) → lowers fever

Provides fast relief from fever & mild-to-moderate pain
Dosage & Administration

Adults: 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as needed

Maximum: Do not exceed 4 grams per day (i.e., max 6 tablets in 24 hours)

Should be taken after food with water

Children: Separate pediatric formulations are recommended
