Uses / Indications

Burnol Cream is recommended for:

• First aid for minor burns & scalds

• Kitchen burns, hot liquid scalds, flame or fire burns (mild)

• Insect bite irritation

• Minor cuts, wounds, scratches, abrasions

• Helps prevent infection and speeds up healing in minor skin injuries

Mechanism of Action

• Nitrofurazone: Inhibits bacterial enzymes → prevents infection in burn wounds

• Acriflavine: Works as antiseptic and bacteriostatic agent

• Together they provide antimicrobial protection + soothing base for skin

Directions for Use

1. Clean the affected area gently with water

2. Apply a thin uniform layer of Burnol Cream directly on the burn / wound

3. Cover with sterile gauze if required

4. Reapply 2–3 times daily until healing occurs or as directed by physician

Side Effects

• Generally safe in minor burns

• Rare: local irritation, redness, itching, or rash in sensitive individuals
