Uses / Indications
Duolin Syrup is prescribed for:

Asthma – relief of bronchospasm.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Chronic bronchitis & emphysema.

Relief of wheezing, coughing, breathlessness, chest tightness.
How It Works

Levosalbutamol → stimulates beta-2 receptors → relaxes airway muscles.

Ipratropium Bromide → blocks muscarinic receptors → prevents airway muscle constriction.

Combined → stronger and longer bronchodilation → easier breathing.
Dosage (General Guide – as prescribed by doctor)

Adults: 5 ml, 2–3 times daily.

Children (6–12 years): 2.5–5 ml, 2–3 times daily.

Children (<6 years): Dose adjusted by doctor only.
Side Effects
Common: Dry mouth, cough, throat irritation, headache, dizziness, tremors, palpitations.
Serious (rare): Chest pain, irregular heartbeat, worsening breathing, allergic reaction.
Precautions & Warnings

Use cautiously in heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, glaucoma, prostate problems.
