Description
Glimiprex 1 mg Tablet contains Glimepiride, an oral antidiabetic medicine from the sulfonylurea group.
It helps control blood sugar levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin and improving insulin efficiency in the body.
Uses / Indications

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (non-insulin dependent)

Used alone or in combination with Metformin / Insulin / other antidiabetics to improve glycemic control

Helps prevent long-term complications of diabetes (kidney, nerve, eye, and heart problems)
Dosage (General Guidance)

Adults: Usually 1 mg once daily, preferably before or with breakfast

Dose may be gradually increased (up to 2–4 mg or max 6–8 mg/day) depending on blood sugar response

Should be taken at the same time daily
