Uses / Indications

Losakind 25mg Tablet is prescribed for:

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) – starting/low dose for patients.

• Heart Failure – improves survival and reduces hospitalizations.

• Diabetic Nephropathy (kidney disease in patients with Type 2 Diabetes and high BP).

• Reducing risk of stroke and cardiovascular events in high-risk patients.

Mechanism of Action

• Losartan belongs to Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers (ARBs).

• Blocks angiotensin II → prevents narrowing of blood vessels.

• Relaxes and widens arteries → lowers blood pressure.

Dosage & Administration
