Dosage (General Guidance)
(As directed by dentist/physician)

Apply small quantity of gel directly on affected gums/teeth with a clean finger or cotton swab
-
Frequency: 2–3 times daily, preferably after meals & before bedtime

Do not rinse immediately after application

Treatment duration: Usually 7–14 days depending on severity
Side Effects

Local irritation, burning sensation on gums

Dryness or temporary change in taste

Brownish discoloration of teeth/tongue (with prolonged use of chlorhexidine – reversible)

Rare: Allergic reactions, rash, swelling
Precautions / Warnings

For dental use only, not to be swallowed

Avoid alcohol during therapy & 48 hrs after (because of Metronidazole)

Prolonged use may cause tooth staining (chlorhexidine-related)

Safe in pregnancy & breastfeeding if used topically under dentist’s supervision

Maintain oral hygiene along with treatment
