Uses / Indications
Monticop-A Tablet is prescribed for:

Asthma (maintenance therapy, not for acute attack)

Bronchitis (chronic cough with mucus, inflammation)

Mechanism of Action

Montelukast: Leukotriene receptor antagonist → reduces airway inflammation & prevents bronchospasm

Acebrophylline: Bronchodilator + mucolytic → relaxes bronchial muscles, thins mucus, and improves airflow

Combined Effect: Better breathing, reduced wheezing, cough & allergic symptoms
Dosage & Administration

Adults: 1 tablet once or twice daily, as prescribed by physician

Best taken after meals with water

Not meant for immediate relief in acute asthma attacks (use rescue inhaler instead)
