Uses / Indications

Moxikind-CV 625 Tablet is prescribed for bacterial infections such as:

• Respiratory tract infections: sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, bronchitis

• Ear, nose & throat infections

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Skin & soft tissue infections (cellulitis, abscess, wound infections)

• Bone & joint infections

• Dental infections

• Gastrointestinal infections (caused by susceptible bacteria)

Mechanism of Action

• Amoxicillin: Broad-spectrum antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis

• Clavulanic Acid: A β-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacterial resistance, enhancing the effect of Amoxicillin

• Combined Effect: Strong activity against resistant bacterial strains

Dosage & Administration

• Adults: 1 tablet every 8–12 hours, depending on infection severity

• To be taken after meals to reduce stomach upset
