Olsar 20mg Tablet is prescribed for:

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) – helps control BP and maintain it within normal range.

• Reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications due to high BP.

• Protects kidney health in patients with Type 2 Diabetes and hypertension.

Mechanism of Action

• Olmesartan is an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB).

• Blocks angiotensin II hormone → prevents narrowing of blood vessels.

• Relaxes and widens arteries → lowers blood pressure.

Dosage & Administration

• Usual adult dose: 20 mg once daily.
