Uses / Indications

Tazloc 20mg Tablet is prescribed for:

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) – helps reduce and maintain BP at normal levels.

• Reducing the long-term risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

• Protecting kidney function in patients with Type 2 Diabetes and hypertension.

• Sometimes used in combination therapy with other antihypertensive medicines.

Mechanism of Action

• Telmisartan belongs to Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers (ARBs).

• It blocks angiotensin II hormone → prevents narrowing of blood vessels.

• Relaxes and widens blood vessels → lowers blood pressure.

• Improves blood flow and reduces strain on the heart.

Dosage & Administration

• Usual adult dose: 20 mg once daily.
