Uses / Indications

Telmikind 40mg Tablet is used for:

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) – commonly prescribed as the standard dose.

• Reduces risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage from uncontrolled BP.

• Protects kidneys in patients with Type 2 Diabetes & high blood pressure.

• Can be used alone or with other antihypertensives (e.g., diuretics, calcium channel blockers).

Mechanism of Action

• Telmisartan is an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB).

• Blocks angiotensin II hormone → prevents narrowing of blood vessels.
