Uses / Indications

Telmikind-H 40/12.5 Tablet is prescribed for:

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) – when BP is not adequately controlled by a single drug.

• Reducing long-term risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney complications.

• Helpful in patients with fluid retention or swelling (edema).

Mechanism of Action

• Telmisartan (ARB): Blocks angiotensin II → prevents narrowing of blood vessels → lowers BP.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (Diuretic): Increases urine output → removes excess salt & water → reduces BP.

Dosage & Administration
