Urimax 0.2 mg Capsule is a prescription medicine used to relieve urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) — a condition in which the prostate gland becomes enlarged, causing difficulty in urination.
It contains Tamsulosin, a selective alpha-1 receptor blocker that relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to pass urine. This helps reduce symptoms such as frequent urination, weak urine flow, and incomplete bladder emptying.
Urimax 0.2 mg is usually prescribed as a starting dose for men beginning treatment for prostate enlargement.
