Uses / Indications
Valpress 80mg Tablet is prescribed for:

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) – helps maintain blood pressure within normal range.

Heart Failure – reduces symptoms, improves heart function, and lowers hospitalization risk.

Post-Myocardial Infarction (after heart attack) – reduces the risk of future cardiovascular complications.

Provides long-term protection to the heart and kidneys in hypertensive patients.
Mechanism of Action

Valsartan is an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB).

Blocks angiotensin II → prevents narrowing of blood vessels.

Relaxes and dilates arteries → lowers blood pressure.

Improves circulation, reduces strain on the heart, and protects kidneys.
Dosage & Administration

Usual adult dose: 80–160 mg once daily, depending on condition.

For hypertension: 80 mg once daily is commonly prescribed.

For heart failure or post-MI: may be given alone or with diuretics, beta-blockers, or ACE inhibitors.
