Description
Zifi 200 Tablet contains Cefixime 200 mg, a broad-spectrum 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is used in both adults and children.
Uses / Indications

Respiratory tract infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)

ENT infections (sinusitis, otitis media)

Urinary tract infections (UTI)

Typhoid fever (Salmonella infections)

Skin & soft tissue infections
Dosage (General Guidance)

Adults: 200–400 mg/day in 1–2 divided doses

Children (>6 months): 8 mg/kg/day (usually given as syrup or dispersible tablet)

Duration: 5–14 days depending on type & severity of infection
Route: Oral
Advice: Take with or after meals for better absorption and to reduce gastric upset
