Description: Aciloc 150 Injection contains Ranitidine, an H2 receptor blocker. It works by reducing the production of excess stomach acid and provides relief in acid-related disorders. It is used for gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, GERD, Zollinger–Ellison syndrome, and prevention of stress-induced ulcers in critically ill patients.

Dosage & Administration:

Adults: 50 mg IV/IM every 6–8 hrs (may increase up to 150 mg/24 hrs depending on severity).

Route: Slow IV injection, IV infusion, or IM.

Side Effects: Headache, dizziness, constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, injection site reaction. Rare: liver dysfunction, low blood counts, cardiac arrhythmias (IV use).
Precautions:

Contraindicated in patients allergic to ranitidine or other H2 blockers.

Use cautiously in kidney and liver impairment (dose adjustment needed).

Long-term use may increase risk of vitamin B12 deficiency.
