Each tablet contains:

Amlodipine Besylate equivalent to Amlodipine 10 mg
Uses / Indications
Amlopres 10mg Tablet is prescribed for:

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) – especially in patients not controlled with 5 mg.

Angina Pectoris (chest pain due to blocked heart arteries).
-
Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).
-
Long-term prevention of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage due to uncontrolled BP.
Mechanism of Action
-
Belongs to Calcium Channel Blockers (CCBs).
-
Relaxes and widens blood vessels → lowers blood pressure.
-
Improves oxygen delivery to heart muscles → reduces chest pain.
-
Lowers the strain on the heart.
Dosage & Administration

Usual adult dose: 5–10 mg once daily.

10 mg is the maximum recommended dose for adults.

Can be taken with or without food.

Should be taken at the same time every day.

Do not skip or stop suddenly without doctor’s advice.
