Composition

Uses / Indications

Asthalin Syrup 100 ml is used for the treatment and relief of:

1. Asthma – relieves bronchospasm and wheezing.

2. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

3. Chronic & Acute Bronchitis.

4. Breathing problems due to airway narrowing – shortness of breath, tight chest, coughing fits.

5. Exercise-induced bronchospasm (if advised by doctor).

How It Works (Mechanism of Action)

• Salbutamol is a beta-2 agonist that relaxes airway smooth muscles.

• This leads to bronchodilation (widening of the airways).

• Provides quick relief from wheezing, breathlessness, and chest tightness.

Dosage (General Guide – Only as directed by doctor)

• Adults: 5–10 ml (2–4 mg), 3–4 times daily.

• Children (6–12 years): 5 ml (2 mg), 3–4 times daily.
