Description

Atocor 10 mg Tablet is a cholesterol-lowering medicine (statin class). It works by blocking the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is responsible for cholesterol production in the liver. This reduces bad cholesterol (LDL, VLDL, triglycerides) and increases good cholesterol (HDL), helping to prevent heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications.

Uses

• High cholesterol (hyperlipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia)

• Prevention of heart attack, stroke, and angina

• Management of mixed dyslipidemia
