Azicip 100 mg Dry Syrup is a pediatric antibiotic formulation containing Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, stopping their growth and multiplication. It is mainly prescribed for children with respiratory, ear, throat, skin, and soft tissue infections.

✅ Indications / Uses

Azicip 100 Dry Syrup is indicated for the treatment of:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis)

• Ear, nose & throat infections (otitis media, throat infections)

• Skin & soft tissue infections (cellulitis, impetigo, abscess)

• Other bacterial infections as prescribed by the doctor

⚠️ Not effective against viral infections like cold or flu.

💊 Dosage & Administration

• Dose depends on the child’s age, weight, and severity of infection.

• To be taken once daily as prescribed by the physician.

• Reconstitution: Add boiled & cooled water up to the mark on the bottle, shake well before each use.

• Can be given with or without food (with food may reduce stomach upset).

• Complete the entire prescribed course to prevent resistance.
