Azicip 200 mg Dry Syrup is a pediatric antibiotic formulation of Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacterial infections. It is designed for children and works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth and preventing the spread of infection.

✅ Indications / Uses

Azicip 200 Dry Syrup is prescribed for the treatment of:

• Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis)

• ENT infections (otitis media, throat infections)

• Skin & soft tissue infections (cellulitis, abscess, impetigo)

• Other bacterial infections as directed by the physician

⚠️ Not effective for viral infections like cold or flu.

💊 Dosage & Administration

• Dose depends on the child’s age, weight, and severity of infection.

• Usually prescribed once daily, as advised by the physician.

• Reconstitution: Add boiled & cooled water up to the mark on the bottle and shake well before use.

• May be given with or without food (with food can reduce stomach upset).

• Complete the full prescribed course to avoid resistance.
