Azicip 250 Tablet is an antibiotic containing Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth and spread of infection. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract, skin, ear, throat, and sexually transmitted infections.

Azicip 250 is prescribed for the treatment of:

Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis)

ENT infections (ear, nose, throat bacterial infections)

Skin & soft tissue infections (cellulitis, impetigo, abscess)

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) – chlamydia, gonorrhea

Typhoid fever (as advised by physician)

💊 Dosage & Administration

Adults: Usually 500 mg on Day 1, followed by 250 mg once daily from Day 2–5.
