Uses / Indications
Budecort Inhaler 100 is prescribed for:

Asthma – long-term control and prevention of attacks.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Chronic bronchitis & emphysema.

Reduces wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and breathlessness.
How It Works

Budesonide is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling in the airways.

Makes breathing easier and prevents asthma/COPD flare-ups.

Not a rescue inhaler → works only for long-term control.
Dosage (General Guide – as prescribed by doctor)

Adults & Children (≥6 years): 1–2 inhalations twice daily.

Dosage depends on severity and doctor’s advice.

Not for sudden asthma relief (rescue inhaler needed separately).
How to Use

Shake the inhaler before use.

Exhale fully, place mouthpiece between lips.
-
Press canister while inhaling deeply.
-
Hold breath for 5–10 seconds, then exhale.

Rinse mouth after each use to prevent oral thrush (fungal infection).
Side Effects
Common: Throat irritation, hoarseness, oral thrush, cough, headache.
Serious (rare): Severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, allergic reaction.
Precautions & Warnings

Not for immediate relief of asthma attack.
