Budecort Inhaler 200 is used for:

Asthma (moderate to severe) – long-term control & prevention.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Chronic bronchitis & emphysema.

Reduces frequency of wheezing, coughing, breathlessness, and chest tightness.
How It Works

Budesonide reduces airway inflammation, swelling, and irritation.

Helps improve lung function & prevents flare-ups.

Not a rescue inhaler → works for long-term control only.
Dosage (General Guide – only as prescribed by doctor)

Adults & Children (≥6 years): 1–2 inhalations twice daily.

Not for sudden asthma relief (rescue inhaler needed).
How to Use

Shake the inhaler before each use.

Exhale fully, place mouthpiece in mouth.

Press down while inhaling deeply.
-
Hold breath for 5–10 seconds, then exhale.

Rinse mouth after use to prevent oral thrush (fungal infection).
Side Effects
Common: Throat irritation, hoarseness, oral thrush, cough, headache.
Serious (rare): Chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, allergic reaction.
