Uses:

• Treatment of vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection)

• Relief from vaginal itching, irritation, redness, and discharge

Mechanism of Action (How it Works):

• Clotrimazole works by stopping the growth of the fungus Candida albicans

• It damages the fungal cell membrane, leading to its death and relief from infection

Dosage / How to Use:

• Usual dose: One tablet inserted deep into the vagina once daily (preferably at bedtime) for 3 consecutive days

• Use as directed by your gynecologist/doctor

• Wash hands before and after use

Side Effects:

• Mild vaginal burning or irritation

• Itching at the site of application

• Rare: Abdominal cramps, rash, or swelling

Precautions:

• For vaginal use only, do not swallow

• Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment

• Inform doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding

• Do not use during periods (menstruation)

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early
