📌 Description

Ciplactin Syrup contains Cyproheptadine, an antihistamine with appetite-stimulating properties. It is used in children and adults for the treatment of allergic conditions such as rhinitis, urticaria, and skin reactions, and is also commonly prescribed to improve appetite in underweight patients.

✅ Indications / Uses

Ciplactin Syrup is prescribed for:

• Allergic disorders (hay fever, rhinitis, urticaria, conjunctivitis)

• Skin allergies (insect bites, dermatitis, itching)

• Loss of appetite / poor weight gain

• Adjunct therapy in undernutrition and growth-related issues (as prescribed)

• Migraine prophylaxis (in selected cases)

💊 Dosage & Administration

• Children: Dose depends on age and weight (commonly 2 mg/5 mL, 2–3 times daily).

• Adults: Usually 10–20 mL daily, in divided doses.

• Take with or without food, as directed by physician.

• Use only the measuring cup/spoon provided.
