Ciplar 20mg Tablet is prescribed for:

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

Mechanism of Action
-
Propranolol is a Non-selective Beta-Blocker.

Blocks Beta-1 (heart) and Beta-2 (lungs, blood vessels) receptors.

Lowers heart rate & contractility → reduces BP and chest pain.

Controls abnormal heart rhythms.

Prevents adrenaline-related symptoms like tremors, palpitations, and anxiety.
Dosage & Administration

Usual adult dose: 20–40 mg, 2–3 times daily (varies with condition).

Take with or immediately after food (improves absorption & reduces stomach upset).

Swallow whole with water.
