Duova Rotacaps are prescribed for:

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Chronic bronchitis & emphysema

Long-term maintenance therapy to prevent airflow obstruction, wheezing, breathlessness, and chest tightness
(Not for sudden asthma/COPD attacks)
How It Works

Formoterol → relaxes airway muscles, bronchodilation up to 12 hours.

Tiotropium → blocks muscarinic receptors, preventing airway narrowing.

Combined → dual long-acting bronchodilation → improved lung function & breathing comfort.
Dosage (General Guide – as prescribed by doctor)

Adults: 1 rotacap once daily (through Rotahaler).

Not recommended for children.

Not a rescue medicine – only for long-term maintenance.
How to Use (with Rotahaler)

Insert rotacap into the Rotahaler.

Twist to pierce capsule.
-
Inhale powder deeply through mouthpiece.
-
Hold breath for few seconds, then exhale.

Discard empty capsule after use.
Side Effects
Common: Dry mouth, throat irritation, cough, headache, dizziness.
Serious (rare): Chest pain, irregular heartbeat, eye pain/blurred vision, allergic reaction.
Precautions & Warnings
