Description:

Dydroboon Tablet contains Dydrogesterone, a synthetic form of the natural female hormone Progesterone. It is mainly prescribed to treat progesterone deficiency conditions in women. It helps regulate the menstrual cycle, supports pregnancy in women with low progesterone, and provides relief in gynecological disorders like endometriosis and premenstrual syndrome.


Uses / Indications:

  • Menstrual Disorders: Regulates irregular periods, painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea), and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

  • Threatened Abortion: Helps in preventing miscarriage by stabilizing the uterine lining.

  • Recurrent Miscarriage (Habitual Abortion): Used in women with a history of repeated pregnancy loss due to luteal phase insufficiency.

  • Infertility Treatment: Improves chances of conception in women with progesterone deficiency.

  • Endometriosis: Reduces pain and prevents abnormal tissue growth outside the uterus.

  • Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT): Given along with estrogen to prevent endometrial hyperplasia.


Dosage & Administration:

  • General Dose: 5 mg to 10 mg once or twice daily, as advised by the gynecologist.

  • Threatened Miscarriage: Higher initial dose may be given, followed by maintenance dose.

  • Route: Oral, with or without food.
