Description
Feburic 120 Tablet contains Febuxostat, a potent xanthine oxidase inhibitor that reduces uric acid production in the body.
This high-strength dose is prescribed in patients with severe chronic gout or persistent hyperuricemia who do not respond adequately to lower doses (40 mg or 80 mg).
Uses / Indications

Treatment of chronic gout with severe uric acid elevation

Management of hyperuricemia when not controlled with lower strengths

Prevents uric acid crystal deposition in joints, kidneys, and tissues

Helps reduce frequency of gout attacks and related joint pain
Dosage (General Guidance)

Adults: 120 mg once daily

May be started after lower doses fail to achieve target uric acid levels

Can be taken with or without food

Regular monitoring of serum uric acid required
