Description
Feburic 80 Tablet contains Febuxostat, a medicine that lowers uric acid levels by inhibiting the enzyme xanthine oxidase.
It is prescribed for patients with chronic gout and persistent hyperuricemia where lower doses are insufficient.
Uses / Indications

Treatment of chronic gout (painful joint inflammation due to uric acid crystal deposits)

Management of hyperuricemia in adults not responding to allopurinol or intolerant to it

Prevents uric acid deposition in joints, kidneys, and tissues
Dosage (General Guidance)

Adults: 80 mg once daily; may be increased to 120 mg in severe cases

Can be taken with or without food

Regular monitoring of serum uric acid levels is necessary
