Uses:

Systemic fungal infections (candidemia, cryptococcosis)

Dosage & Administration:

Adults: 100–400 mg daily depending on severity.

Children: 3–12 mg/kg/day (as prescribed).

Route: IV infusion only.

Side Effects: Nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, increased liver enzymes, rash, infusion site reactions (rare).
Precautions:

Avoid in patients allergic to Fluconazole or other azoles.

May cause QT prolongation (heart rhythm changes).

Drug Interactions:
