Description:
Glimester M2 Tablet is a combination oral anti-diabetic medicine used for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It contains Glimepiride, which increases insulin secretion from the pancreas, and Metformin, which reduces liver glucose production, slows intestinal glucose absorption, and improves insulin sensitivity.
Together, they provide comprehensive blood sugar control, targeting both fasting and postprandial glucose levels, and help prevent long-term diabetes complications.
Uses:

Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (when diet, exercise, and single therapy are inadequate)

Reduces risk of complications such as kidney damage, neuropathy, retinopathy, heart attack, and stroke
Mechanism of Action:

Glimepiride (2 mg): Stimulates pancreatic beta cells to release insulin → lowers blood sugar

Dosage & Administration:
