Description
Glimiprex-M1 Tablet is a combination antidiabetic medicine containing Glimepiride and Metformin.

Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin.

Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity.
Together, they provide better blood sugar control in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients who are not adequately controlled by diet, exercise, or single-drug therapy.

Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Helps reduce risk of long-term complications like kidney failure, neuropathy, retinopathy, and cardiovascular disease

Used when monotherapy with Glimepiride or Metformin alone is insufficient
Dosage (General Guidance)

Adults: Usually 1 tablet once or twice daily, with meals

Dose adjusted depending on blood sugar response

Hypoglycemia (low sugar – sweating, shakiness, dizziness)
