Description:

Glizid-MR 60 mg Tablet is an oral anti-diabetic medicine used in the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It contains Gliclazide in a modified-release (MR) formulation, which allows the medicine to act gradually and provide better blood sugar control throughout the day with fewer fluctuations.

It works by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin and by improving the body’s ability to utilize insulin effectively. This helps lower both fasting and post-meal blood sugar levels.

Uses:

• Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

• Helps prevent diabetes complications like kidney damage, heart disease, nerve damage, and vision problems

Mechanism of Action:
