Description:

Gluconorm V 0.2/500 Tablet is a combination anti-diabetic medicine used to manage Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults, especially those with high postprandial (after-meal) sugar levels.

• Voglibose delays the breakdown and absorption of carbohydrates in the intestine, preventing sudden spikes in blood sugar after meals.

• Metformin lowers liver glucose production, decreases intestinal glucose absorption, and improves insulin sensitivity.

Together, they provide comprehensive glycemic control, targeting both fasting and post-meal blood sugar levels, and help prevent long-term diabetes complications.

Uses:

• Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

• Especially useful for patients with postprandial hyperglycemia (high sugar after meals)

• Helps reduce the risk of complications like kidney disease, neuropathy, retinopathy, and heart disease

Mechanism of Action:
