Product Description:

Lariago Syrup contains Chloroquine Phosphate, an antimalarial drug. It is mainly prescribed for the treatment and prevention of malaria in children and patients who cannot swallow tablets. It works by killing malaria parasites present in red blood cells. Doctors may also prescribe it for extra-intestinal amoebiasis (amoebic liver abscess).

Uses / Indications:

• Treatment of Malaria

• Prevention of malaria in endemic regions

• Amoebic liver abscess (as advised by doctor)

Dosage & Administration:

• Dosage is based on child’s age and body weight

• To be taken orally with food or milk to reduce stomach upset

• Dose and duration must be strictly as per doctor’s prescription

• Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset

• Headache, dizziness, blurred vision

• Itching, rash

• Rare: Retinal damage (long-term/high dose), heart rhythm disturbance
