Description

Losar-H Tablet is a dual-action blood pressure medicine combining Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide.

• Losartan relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure by blocking angiotensin II.

• Hydrochlorothiazide removes excess salt and water, reducing fluid load and blood pressure.

This combination provides better BP control in patients not responding to single-drug therapy.

Uses / Indications

• High blood pressure (Hypertension)

• Prevention of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage in hypertensive patients

• Useful in resistant or uncontrolled hypertension

Dosage (General Guidance)

(As prescribed by physician)

• Adults: Usually 1 tablet once daily

• Best taken in the morning with food (to avoid nighttime urination due to diuretic)

• Dizziness, weakness, headache

• Frequent urination

• Low blood pressure (hypotension)

• Low potassium (hypokalemia) or high potassium (hyperkalemia)

• Nausea, stomach upset
