📌 Description

Lumerax 20 Tablet is a fixed-dose combination antimalarial containing Artemether (a fast-acting blood schizonticide) and Lumefantrine (a long-acting antimalarial). It is used in the treatment of acute, uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria, including chloroquine-resistant strains. The combination provides both rapid parasite clearance and long-term protection against recurrence.

Lumerax 20 Tablet is prescribed for:

• Treatment of acute uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum

• Malaria infections resistant to other antimalarials (chloroquine, etc.)

• Mixed malaria infections (as advised by physician)

💊 Dosage & Administration

• Children (5–15 kg body weight): Usually 1 tablet twice daily for 3 days (total 6 doses).

• Should be taken with milk or fatty food to enhance absorption.

• Always follow physician’s exact dosing schedule.

• Not recommended for infants below 5 kg.
