Lumerax 40 Tablet is a combination antimalarial medicine containing Artemether (rapid-acting schizonticide) and Lumefantrine (long-acting antimalarial). It is recommended by the WHO for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, including drug-resistant strains. The dual mechanism provides quick symptom relief and prevents recurrence.

Lumerax 40 Tablet is prescribed for:

Uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria

Children (15–24 kg body weight): Usually 2 tablets twice daily for 3 days (total 6 doses).
