📌 Description

Lumerax 80 Tablet is a high-strength Artemisinin Combination Therapy (ACT) containing Artemether (rapid parasite-killing action) and Lumefantrine (long-acting antimalarial). It is recommended for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, including multi-drug resistant strains. The combination ensures fast parasite clearance and reduces risk of relapse.

✅ Indications / Uses

Lumerax 80 Tablet is prescribed for:

• Uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria

• Malaria resistant to chloroquine and other standard antimalarials

• Mixed malaria infections (as per physician’s advice)

💊 Dosage & Administration

• Adults & Children >35 kg: Usually 4 tablets per dose, twice daily for 3 days (total 6 doses).

• Must be taken with milk or fatty food for proper absorption.

• Not recommended for infants below 5 kg or for malaria prevention.

• Always follow physician’s prescribed schedule.
