Lumerax ACT Tablet is a WHO-recommended Artemisinin Combination Therapy (ACT) containing Artemether (fast parasite-killing action) and Lumefantrine (long-acting antimalarial). It is used for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, including multidrug-resistant strains. This dual-action therapy provides rapid parasite clearance and long-lasting protection against relapse.

Uncomplicated malaria due to Plasmodium falciparum

Malaria resistant to chloroquine and other antimalarials

💊 Dosage & Administration

Children (5–15 kg body weight): 1 tablet twice daily for 3 days (total 6 doses).

Adults & older children: Dose adjusted as per weight.

Should be taken with milk or fatty meals to enhance absorption.

Not for infants below 5 kg or for malaria prevention.
