Lumerax Junior Tablet is a pediatric antimalarial medicine combining Artemether (fast-acting schizonticide) and Lumefantrine (long-acting antimalarial). It is prescribed for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, including drug-resistant strains. Its dual action ensures rapid parasite clearance and sustained protection in children.

Lumerax Junior Tablet is prescribed for:

• Uncomplicated malaria in children caused by Plasmodium falciparum

• Malaria resistant to chloroquine and other standard antimalarials

• Mixed malaria infections (as advised by pediatrician)

💊 Dosage & Administration

• Children (5–15 kg body weight): 1 tablet twice daily for 3 days (total 6 doses).

• Must be given with milk or fatty food to improve absorption.

• Always follow pediatrician’s instructions for dosage.

• Not for infants below 5 kg or for malaria prevention.
