Uses / Indications
Monticop Suspension is prescribed for children in conditions like:

Allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, watery eyes)

Asthma (maintenance therapy, not for acute attacks)

Chronic urticaria (skin allergy, hives, itching)

Mechanism of Action

Montelukast: Blocks leukotrienes → reduces airway inflammation & prevents asthma triggers

Levocetirizine: Antihistamine → relieves sneezing, itching, watery eyes & nasal congestion

Dosage & Administration

Children 2–6 years: 5 ml once daily in the evening (as prescribed)
